"Can you cure your stress right now, without the use of any drugs, without learning any techniques or without abandoning modern life?"

Most people say, "No, but I'm working on it." They think their stress is due to a certain person, work situation, monetary issue, health condition, etc. They believe their stress will go away once they achieve a certain goal, meet someone special, find the perfect place to live or have no responsibilities, etc... But that day never arrives. People continue to experience stress in one form or another, except for brief stress free periods here and there.

Most people deal with stress by finding temporary escapes, such as entertainment, vacations, parties, alcohol, sex, gambling, drugs (legal as well as illegal), etc. To pay for these escapes, they have to come up with more money, which obviously creates more stress and the vicious cycle continues.

Sooner or later, stress starts to express itself in various psychological, as well as physical, ailments for which you consult your doctor, who conveniently prescribes some drugs. These drugs provide temporary relief of some symptoms, a superficial approach that works as long as you take the drugs. Often, the list of drugs gets longer and longer as time goes by. A perfect strategy for pharmaceutical companies, but not so good for patients who not only pay the heavy price literally, but also suffer from a number of serious side-effects. To counteract these side-effects, your physician readily prescribes even more drugs and the circus goes on with no ending in sight.

Is it possible to be free of stress, without the use of medications? Many would reply, "no." Some do attend seminars, learn techniques or spend time in a psychologist's office. However, most continue to suffer from stress. Why? Because most of these approaches do not get down to the true root cause of stress.

In "Stress Cure Now," Dr. Zaidi shows how you can be free of stress, right away. You don't need to wait for some person to change. You don't need some situation to resolve, some conditions be met or some targets to be reached. You don't need to learn some special techniques, attend some seminars or join some group.

Dr. Zaidi's strategy to cure stress is based on his personal awakening, in-depth medical knowledge and vast clinical experience. Its truly a New approach to deal with stress. It is simple, direct, original and therefore, profound. He uses logic - the common sense that every human is born with. Using the torch of logic, Dr. Zaidi shows you that the true root cause of stress actually resides inside you, not out there. Therefore, the solution must also resides inside you. All you have to do is see the true root cause of your stress clearly.

In "Stress Cure Now," Dr. Zaidi guides you to see the true root cause of your stress, in its deepest layers. Only then you can get rid of it from its roots, once and for all.

Stress Cure NowA Stress Management Book With A New Logical And Effective Approach edition by Sarfraz Zaidi MD Health Fitness Dieting eBooks

On a recommendation from a mentor, I ordered this paperback the day I learned about it.

The weekend I picked it up - thinking "I'll just get started, and see how far I get" - marks the "before." Now, I'm looking at things differently.

If you're willing to look at "the whole picture" of how you're living, working ... Worrying and wondering ... get this book.

My favorite section, by far, starts on page 41 with "Chapter 6: Psychosocial Conditioning."

The author, Dr. Zaidi is open and self-disclosing, sharing his journey and his life's work with us here. Here, he shares the information he as collected about the impact of such things as:

+ Attachments
+ Judging, Reward and Punishment
+ Excitement and Boredom
+ Expectations

...and more. Just those 22 pages (of Chapter 6) are enough to read, and possibly re-read, this book.

Highly recommended.

The book 's title put me off but boy did the content blow me away. What a great summary of Buddhist/Zen/mindfulness thinking! I almost hesitate to say this because I can hear Dr. Z. cautioning us about conceptualizing his subject matter rather than experiencing it. If you are looking for a deeper awareness of the mind in straight-forward language, read this book.
This book has made such a difference for me. It explains how everything unfolds from the time you are born and how the true self is slowly pushed aside by the conditioning from all influences as to how you should think or behave. Conditioning that helps us to survive in a healthy way is good. But many of the concepts we are given by society as we grow, appeal to our ego or our fears, creating an aquired self that is never at peace. No peace = stress. Accumulated stress leads to weakened immune systems and disease. By focusing on what's real and necessary, you'll be able to eliminate inner stress and everything becomes clearer and easier. Once you can tell the difference between your true self and your acquired self, you can see how we all have a chance at a joyful life, no matter what your formative aspects were.
Anger, fear, embarrassment, etc. Problems we all face from time to time, along with other issues. This book explains why we act and react the way we do in easy to understand language. It even touches on over eating and what we can do to combat the problem. I really enjoyed reading this and learning more about myself and others. I think everyone will learn something of benefit from reading this book.
After years of grappling with stress and serious anger issues related to stress (particularly at work, with staff resigning and associated feelings of guilt on account of my deserved reputation as an ill-tempered, rude and difficult boss), and having read all kinds of books on the topics of stress and anger management, I can say and single out that it was this particular book that led to a personal breakthrough as well as a permanent and lasting attitude / behaviour change for the better.

I cannot really describe the sense of relief, inner peace and calmness with which I these days attend to all daily mundane or important tasks alike, you will have to experience it yourself. No more anger when standing in a queue, no more giving the finger to other drivers, no more sense of entitlement and associated disappointment. Just the present moment, being kind to others and receiving kindness back where you never expected it. What a great way to live.

I can only highly recommend this book to everyone who has problems with stress and anger. The beauty of it is that it deals with the entire spectrum of what Dr Zaidi so compellingly calls the "acquired self". In my case, the effects were quite immediate. Whilst still reading the book, I began applying some of its lessons.

Although one has to be receptive for the message (willing to change, recognizing that you have a problem), the message of this book is simple but compelling. Sure, there is some repetitiveness in the book, but Dr Zaidi really drives the point home. As a plus, it does not contain any of the esoteric BS that often come with these types of books.

On personal experience, I suggest that you try this one.
I am so appreciative that Dr. Zaidi chose to write this book. I read his book about Grave's disease, and was so impressed with his openness to alternative methods of treatment instead of the traditional choices that were not palatable to me. I trusted him as a result of his impressive medical education and training and appreciated his awareness of the limitations of traditional medication. As managing stress is a huge component in the management of autoimmune disorders, I purchased this book, and am so glad I did. Thank you Dr. Zaidi for sharing your personal wisdom.
